Empathy

As we celebrate the beginning of Pride Month, let us use this as an opportunity to affirm people where they are on their life’s journey, not by placing them in boxes, but by seeing them in the fullness of who they are. We encounter many people in the course of our days and the easiest thing is to assume that we know and understand how someone else is feeling.
