Atonement to Action: Riverdale Interfaith Tashlich

Tashlich means “cast off” or “send away.” On Rosh Hashanah, Jews symbolically cast off their sins by throwing breadcrumbs or pebbles into a river or a stream. This special Tashlich observance will focus on finding positive actions to address the current humanitarian crisis. The event is sponsored by Bend the Arc and the Interfaith Clergy Conference of Riverdale, Kingsbridge, Spuyten Duyvil, and Marble Hill. Parking is available at Riverdale Temple.
