Sometimes a mitzvah can be as simple as learning about something that you did not know before. With that in mind, I invite you to read an article that was published in The Forward a year ago about Juneteenth.
Juneteenth is a commemoration of a moment in time -- one of possibility and potential. My own knowledge and understanding of Juneteenth was cursory at best until this year. I invite you to join in this mitzvah of learning more by following the links below.
